Oklahoma City Site for 11th Annual Equine Judges Seminar in 2003 If you'd like to sharpen your judging skills and learn about the latest horse show trends and rule changes, mark January 31-February 3 on your calendar. That's when the 11th Annual International Equine Judges Seminar will be held at the Biltmore Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma This one-of-a-kind seminar is aimed at improving your judging abilities. Carded judges will have the opportunity to share their judging concerns, learn to deal with challenges, discuss ethics, and establish a special rapport with their equine associations. Judge applicants will attend sessions led by successful professionals in the equine industry. Seminars this year include: hunter under saddle, horsemanship, over fences, Western pleasure, longe line, driving, roping, cutting, reining, halter and dressage. This year's event will be sponsored by the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. Oklahoma State University is also assisting at the event. While regular-status judges are required to attend events on February 2 and 3, they are urged to attend sessions on February 1 as well.
