Betsey Haney Wins World Championship at the

Pinto World Show and APHA World Show

Betsey Haney and Southern Gambler win big at the 2002 World Pinto and Paint Shows.

Betsey Haney and her four year old gelding, Southern Gambler, better known as Ziggy, won a Pinto World Championship in Junior Amateur Hunter Seat English Pleasure, ST/HN Types at the Pinto World Show. Ziggy went on to win a Pinto World Championship in Hunter Seat English Pleasure, ST/HN Stallions and Geldings, as well as a Pinto World Championship in Working Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter Seat, All Types, under the guidance of trainer Shelley Lunde, of Lunde Show Horses, Norco, California. Betsey and Ziggy also placed Eighth overall in Novice Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation at the APHA Paint World Show in Fort Worth.

A resident of Tucson, Arizona Betsey is the daughter of Jerre and Robin Pritz, also of Tucson. Betsey is a junior at the University of Arizona, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
